106年度彰化縣長盃劍道錦標賽22日在明道大學進行賽事，吸引了560多位勇士挑戰，整天賽程氣勢懾人、聲勢震天；國內最年輕得到劍道界最高八段審查的前國手岳建中也來擔任裁判長，分享「一生懸命」求道練劍的歷程，激起小選手們的鬥志。

其中成立才3個月的二林家扶劍道班，可是初生之犢不畏虎，30位學員全報名。鹿鳴國中校長李錦仁說，105年暑假成立時，全校不到10位學生參加，當時也只有三套家長捐贈的護具加道服；經一年多來，學生已經超過超過60位，各界贊助的道服跟護具增至二十套。校方考量學生的興趣與經濟情況，先建議學生等到真正投入時，再購買個人使用的道服，加上今天幾乎全隊出動，所以有些人先穿著運動服出場，但是學生很是很高興。

8月才剛得到教育部校長領導卓越獎的李錦仁說，透過劍道的訓練，讓學生練術修心，培養膽識，一年多來看到學生勇敢、守紀律、重榮譽跟團隊精神上有很大的進步，而且充滿自信。

裁判長岳建中說，從高一開始學劍道，桃縣縣劍道隊區運練續20屆連霸，他就就參加過17屆，2015年開始參加劍道界最高的八段審查，歷經5次失敗，今年3月才順利通過審查，成為目前全台最年輕的八段，一輩子跟劍道結緣「一生懸命」，興起傳承念頭，義不容辭馬上答應擔任裁判長，希望讓學習劍道的人越來越多，爭取劍道成為亞運的項目。

賽事一共分成七個的場地進行，最受矚目的是二林家扶的劍道班，小學低年級學生雖然技術不成熟，但是個個人小志氣高，打基本動作時，「面」、「面」聲快要把天花板震翻了；鹿鳴國中學生上場前，因為護具不足，選手都會互相幫忙穿戴，穿著運動服跟護具就比賽，雖裝備不足，但是士氣高昂，讓校長李錦仁十分感動。
